The Woodford drywall mounting plate is designed as a secure way to anchor the faucet to an interior wall and at the same time provide a durable and protective plate to cover the finished drywall.

The mounting plate installs on a horizontal or vertical 2" x 4" interior stud wall and keeps just the right amount of space between 5/8" drywall and the faucet wall flange. This allows the cover plate to hide the faucet installation for a clean, professional look.

Q. "Why do some of the faucets have two different inlet sizes shown?"
A. Some of the faucets shown have two different sized inlets because they are able to fit two different sized pipes. For example: model 101P has 1/2" Female Pipe Thread (FPT) on the inside and 3/4" Male Pipe Thread (MPT) on the outside.

Q. "What is EPDM?"
A. EPDM is Ethylene Propylene Diene monomer (M-class) rubber. It is used in a variety of plumbing applications due to it's compatibility with hot and cold water. It has good resistance to inorganic acids, water, salt, bleach and physical tearing. EDPM washers can withstand temperatures ranging from approximately -58°F to 300°F. and are non toxic. EDPM is the most universal and economical material used for seat washers and o-rings.
