Designed for year round use, these hydrants are great for use in campgrounds, parks, and other outdoor installations. Unlike conventional hydrants which drain the water into the ground, these use a reservoir below the frost line to contain the water. The hydrant is completely sealed to prevent surface and ground water from entering the reservoir or service line, keeping the water supply safe. The valve, with it's unique venturi design, removes the stored water along with the water being used. This hydrant will drain even if a pressurized or non-pressurized hose is attached.

Equipped with a diverter spout which allows the hydrant to be operated separately from the back flow preventer. No water is ever introduced into the subsoil. The diverter evacuates the reservoir with each use and lets air into the system when shut off. Even with a hose attached, the hydrant will drain into the reservoir and avoid freezing.
Easy maintenance: The entire working portion of the hydrant can be removed from the reservoir without any excavation

Equipped with a diverter spout which allows the hydrant to be operated independently from the back flow preventer. When the hydrant is to be used with a hose, the diverter sleeve is pulled down during flow and water is automatically diverted to the back flow preventer hose connection. The diverter will work with or without a hose attached to the back flow preventer and will automatically release anytime the hydrant it shut off.
