Leak Repair Clamps, Hinges, and Saddle Tees
For Schedule 40 Pipe
To help avoid damage from a leaking pipe, try using these leak repair clamps. When you have a leaky pipe, sometimes you just don't have the time to fix it permanently and with these repair clamps, it's a snap to stop a leak in its tracks. Need to add a tee to an existing low pressure PVC pipe, but don't have the room to remove a section to add the tee? Saddle Tees are designed to use in places where adding a tee the traditional way is just too difficult or not an option.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. "Are the pipe repair clamps intended for permanent pipe repair?"
A. These are "quick-fix" pipe repair clamps and are not designed to permanently fix leaks.
Q. "My pipe is old and pitted. Will these repair clamps work for me?"
A. These may not work as the pitting may provide a channel for the water to continue leaking. You may want to try using water activated fiberglass repair tape.
Q. "My leak is at a fitting connection. Will these pipe repair clamps work for this type of repair?"
A. No. These repair clamps are designed to fix pipe only. For repairing leaky fittings, you may want to try using water activated fiberglass repair tape.
Q. "Do I really need to use primer?"
A. Primer is a mixture of solvents used to penetrate the pipe and fittings and start the swelling process ahead of the application of the solvent cement. It is highly recommended that you use primer.
Q. "Do you offer PVC primer?"
A. We have not found a brand of primer that we are confident will not leak in transit. It is highly flammable and, in our opinion, too dangerous to ship.
Q. "How do I know what standard PVC pipe sizes are?"
A. In plumbing the "approximate" inside diameter of the PIPE you're using (known as "nominal" size) is what is used to determine the size of the fittings you'll need. This can be somewhat confusing to someone that doesn't do plumbing on a regular basis. Adding to potential confusion, pipes can have the same outside diameter but come in different thickness (which make the inside diameters vary slightly). If you are not sure what size that you need please look at our pipe sizing chart which shows the outside diameter of the "standard" PVC pipes.
Q. "What is LO-V.O.C.?"
A. LO-V.O.C. cements produce significantly less amounts of "V.O.C.'s". V.O.C. stands for "volatile organic compounds", which are unhealthy when breathed or induced. V.O.C.'s also diminish air quality. Please read and follow all directions carefully when applying these cements.
