General Wire Gen-Eye SDW
General Wire Gen-Eye SDW® Systems Feature:
- The Kevlar® braided Gel-Rod® push rod protects against moisture and provides for maximum pushing and pulling power
- The standard reel holds 200 ft., 300 ft., or 400 ft. of push rod on a sturdy compact frame
- 10 inch wheels on these units ensure easy transport to and from the job
- Self-leveling 1-5/8" diameter camera with 16 bright-white LED's help provide superior quality video and illuminate up to 10" diameter lines
- 2", 3" & 6" Trap Skids keep the camera centered in the pipe for a better view, while reducing drag on longer runs

General Wire "Hot Spot" Digital Locator Information
The Gen-Eye Digital Hot Spot Locator lets you know exactly where the problems are. 100 sensitivity levels let you hone in on the transmitter's signal. The LCD display panel produces a clear digital readout, as well as a graphic display and an audible tone. It's faster and more precise than analog locators.
The Gen-Eye Locator lets you locate almost anything underground with its built-in four-way signal finder. You can find the Gen-Eye camera even when it's deep inside cast iron pipe. When you turn on the digital locator, it looks for the 512 hz or 874 hz signal transmitted from the Gen-Eye camera.
Switch the locator to 60 hz, and you can locate underground power lines before you start digging.

Q. "What is special about the self leveling camera?"
A. The self leveling camera keeps the water at the bottom of the picture as the camera glides through the line, making it easier for the operator and his/her customer to follow the action. The camera head is just 1.4" in diameter and has sixteen ultra-bright LED's, so there's plenty of flexibility and enough light to handle lines up to 10" in diameter.
Q. "What size of lines will this system work with?"
A. The General Wire Gen-Eye SD is designed for 3" to 10" lines and the Gen-Eye mini can handle 2" to 4" lines.
Q. "What is a 'Sonde'?"
A. A sonde is a small radio transmitter. Gen-Eye Sondes are a great tool for pipe location in cast iron, clay, or plastic lines. Easier than locating an energized line, you simply locate the pinpoint frequency of the Sonde. Attach the sonde to your drain cleaning cable using the included spring carrier. Then find the signal with the General Wire Digital Locator (not included with all units).
Q. "Does the system include an SD card?"
A. The unit does not include an SD card. SD cards can be found in the electronics section of most department stores.
Q. "Do you offer units without the SD card option?"
A. Yes. For a system that does not include the SD card option we recommend the Gen-Eye POD pipe inspection system.
