How much do you really know about what's in your water? Chances are (unless you have a private well on your property) it's chock-full of chlorine and other chemicals. While there is no doubt that some of the chemicals you find in our water are necessary to help maintain its cleanliness and drinkability, that doesn't mean they're all healthy for your body.

Q. "You mention Chlorine, Combined Chlorine (Sodium Hypochlorite), Lead (trace amounts), Hydrogen Sulfide (rotten egg smell), Iron oxide (rust water), Dirt, sediment, odors. Do these shower filters eliminate all of these and also, how long do these filters last before I need to replace them?"
A. These great shower filters don't necessarily eliminate the chemicals mentioned, though they usually will help to lower the amount of these chemicals in your water. However, their effectiveness really depends on your water conditions. Water quality is very complicated and complex. We wish to be totally honest and not sell something that we don't believe in. We have had many "thanks" and compliments and repeat business with these Sprite shower filters, but we do want you to know that in some water conditions they won't do that much nor will they last long. Some water qualities are extra-ordinary. The above shower water filters reduce many chemicals for most situations, but they are not a fix-all for all water qualities. In some cases, you might also need a whole house sand filter, a water softener or maybe a whole house water filter to deal with the issues mentioned above. And in some situations where you have extremely poor quality water, it might be best to hire a local water expert to give you advice on how to deal with your bad water.
Q. "Some of the shower heads and hand showers are marked discontinued and/or limited to stock - will I still be able to get replacement filters if I purchase one of these items?"
A. YES! One of the best things about Sprite shower filters is that so many designs use the same cartridges, so you'll still be able to get the replacement filter cartridges you need for a long time. For example, the All-in-One (one of Sprite's first filtered shower heads) has been discontinued, yet we still stock and sell cartridges for it.
