  • Size: 2" Sp (spigot) fitting on one end and 2" Mip (male iron pipe) threads on the other end.
  • Easy Installation: Featuring a straightforward design, the male spigot end fits into a PVC schedule 40 fitting like a coupling tee, or elbow. The Mip end provides the abililty to transition to either PVC female threads or to metal fittings with female iron pipe threads.
  • Versatile Use: Perfect for use in a variety of applications, including irrigation and water supply systems offering wide-ranging functionality.
  • Resistant to Chemicals: The PVC material is resistant to a variety of chemicals, making it suitable for diverse fluid-handling environments.
  • When properly glued, and installed, schedule 40 fittings are suitable for potable water systems and will easily handle working pressures of 140 psi @ 73°F.
  • Please Note: Water pressures above 80 psi can damage residential water distribution systems.
  • PVC has exellent chemical and corrosion resistance.
  • PVC is approved for underground use, but not indoor distribution.
