Please note: It is important to understand that each manufacturer determines the color and texture (i.e., polished, brushed, matte, etc.) of their own "oil rubbed bronze" finish. Thus, there may be significant differences between finishes, sometimes even among different product lines from the same manufacturer. Additionally, some manufacturers call their "oil rubbed bronze" finish by alternate names, including but not limited to: Old World Bronze, Venetian Bronze, Venezian Bronze, Weathered Bronze, Distressed Bronze and Tumbled Bronze. Again, these finishes may match or may be completely different from another manufacturer's finish. Please be aware that all photos are representational ONLY and the colors, textures, etc. may differ depending on monitor settings. If it is critical that your item be an exact match to existing fixtures, please contact us before purchasing and we will do our best to provide you with more detailed information about a specific product.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. "Will these products match my existing fixtures?"
A. Each manufacturer's version of "oil rubbed bronze" or other similar bronze finish is different. So, while some things may match, others may not. If it is critical that your items be an exact finish match, we suggest contacting the manufacturer of your existing fixtures to see if they offer the type of item you want in the desired finish. Be aware, however, that sometimes even the manufacturer's finishes can vary from year to year, from factory to factory, or among different product lines.
Q. "Wow! That's a lot of products with an oil-rubbed bronze finish. Do any of these products come in other finishes, like chrome or brushed nickel?"
A. Yes! Almost all of them in fact. We've compiled this listing for our customers' convenience since oil rubbed bronze is one of our most requested finishes, but almost every item you see here is available in several other designer finishes including chrome. To see the various finishes these products are available in, simply click on the links below each section.
Q. "How should I clean or care for my oil rubbed bronze fixtures?"
A. We always recommend following any manufacturer's cleaning or care instructions for the best results - and to prevent voiding any finish warranties they may offer. That being said, it is important to understand that different manufacturer's finishes will age and wear differently. Some manufacturers consider their version of oil rubbed bronze as a "fixed" finish that shouldn't significantly change in color or tone over time, while others refer to oil rubbed bronze as a "living" finish that may patina with age and use.
For basic care, we recommend using a 50/50 mixture of vinegar and water to clean your fixture. Clean oil rubbed bronze fixtures as frequently as needed to prevent build-up of substances that could corrode the finish, like toothpaste, hairspray, etc. If you have hard water, dry the fixture after cleaning or use to keep spots from appearing all over - which could possibly eat away at the finish. Some manufacturers also recommend periodically applying Gel-Gloss or a similar wax to oil rubbed bronze fixtures to serve as a protective coating.
