Frequently Asked Questions

Q. "Do you offer any finishes other than what's listed on your site? Can I custom order a finish for these drains?"
A. Currently, we only offer Designer Drains in Polished Stainless Steel, Brushed Stainless Steel, and Oil Rubbed Bronze because that's all that the manufacturer offers. If other finishes become available, we may offer them. However, please be aware that (with the exception of Oil Rubbed Bronze) these finishes are NOT plated - they are either the brushed or polished surface of the metal of the drain cover itself. Thus, you may be able to see things like the grain of the stainless steel even for the highly polished finish.

Q. "Eureka! I finally found a place that looks like they have the perfect designer drain for me...but I'm not sure what size shower drain I have. Can I return it if it doesn't fit?"
A. Certainly you may return the product - it must be in perfect condition with all of its original packaging (please see our Return Policy for further details) - but we will charge a restocking fee on the returned item. To help avoid problems with fit, check out our video on how to properly measure for your new drain cover.

Q. "How do I clean my new stylish shower drain?"
A. Use a mild detergent such as dishwashing soap or one of our non-abrasive cleaners. Rinse and wipe the drain surface dry. You may gently clear debris in the designs with a soft toothbrush. Do not use abrasive cleaners or those containing ammonia, bleach, or acid as these can ruin the finish.

Q. "Can these drain covers be painted?"
A. Sure, but why would you want to cover up such a pretty finish?


Please note: While we strive to ensure every product we label as "Made in the USA" really is 100% made in the USA, it is also important to understand that sometimes manufacturers make changes to their products, or for various reasons may receive components or materials that they would normally purchase domestically from an overseas supplier - and they don't necessarily let distributors (like us!) know that they've changed something about the product or where it is manufactured.
