The shipping method you select will only be used to deliver the seat once you have told us what color you want. Color chips will ship right away via First Class USPS, unless you specify in the order comments that you do not receive mail at your address. Then the color chips will be shipped via standard ground shipping.
It is important to remember that you should match the chips with your toilet - NOT your old toilet seat! Seats can change color slightly over time from cleaning or light exposure, so it is best to match the color from the sample chip to the toilet, not the old seat.
Once you receive your color chips and have decided on a color, email us with your color selection and order number and we will then send the seat style you pre-selected in the color you chose via the shipping method noted when you ordered; there will be no additional shipping charges for your order. Note: These color chips and toilet seats can be shipped to AK, HI, and any APO/FPO.
Please note: You may purchase the color chips separately (without purchasing a seat at the same time) if you desire. However, please be aware that you will be charged standard shipping for the color chips. If you choose to place an order for a seat AFTER previously ordering the color chips, you will also be charged shipping for the seat. We strongly recommend purchasing the seat and chip option outlined above and paying shipping only once. Q. "What if I know the color (or color code) for the toilet seat? Can I just order the color instead of ordering the color chip?"
A. Yes. If you already know the name or color code of the one you need, then view our page. This page has all the colors currently available. All you need to do is choose the type of toilet seat (round or elongated) you want, then simply select the color you want by inserting a quantity and clicking the "ADD TO CART" button.
Q. "What if none of the color chips match my toilet or I don't need the seat anymore? Can I return the seat?"
A. For hygenic reasons, we cannot accept returns once the actual seat has shipped. If you wish to request a refund prior to the seat shipping, you will need to return the chips you've received for a full refund of the cost of both the color chips and toilet seat. If you do not return the color chips to us, a refund will be applied only for the cost of the seat. Please note that shipping is not refundable in either instance.
Q. "What does 'will fit' mean? How can I be sure one of these seats actually will fit my toilet?"
A. "Will fit" is a term used to describe parts (including toilet seats) that are not made by the original manufacturer, but that are designed to fulfill the same function and fit the same way. The toilet seat you will receive after making your color selection is made by Bemis, the leading toilet seat manufacturer, and is designed to accommodate the majority of round front or elongated front toilet bowls found in the United States. Due to the need to fit many different models of toilets, the dimensions for these seats may not match 100% perfectly with your old seat.
As long as the toilet seat fits securely onto the rim of your toilet bowl without too much overlap, the seat should work for your toilet. If the seat is too short and there is exposed porcelain, most likely the wrong style was ordered and you may need an elongated seat. Of course, keep in mind that some toilet models are unique and a regular style seat simply won't fit.
We recommend measuring your old seat or your toilet bowl and comparing the dimensions to those listed prior to ordering. If the measurements are within 1/2" of each other, the desired seat will most likely work for your toilet model. If not, we encourage you to browse our selection of other toilet seats, as we offer a variety of uniquely sized or different style toilet seats and may have something else to fit your particular model.
Q. "Which is 'better', plastic or wood seats?"
A. Injection molded plastic is more durable than painted composition "wood." Basic plastic seats do tend to "wobble" a little more than wood though. Really it is a matter of personal comfort and preference. Some feel that plastic seats are easier to clean, more sanitary, and will last longer, while others prefer the feel of wood when using the seat. The toilet seats we offer in the colors shown above will be a premium quality plastic toilet seat manufactured in the USA by Bemis, a long-time leader in the toilet seat industry.

A. 1-1/2" Diameter
Please note: While we strive to ensure every product we label as "Made in the USA" really is 100% made in the USA, it is also important to understand that sometimes manufacturers make changes to their products, or for various reasons may receive components or materials that they would normally purchase domestically from an overseas supplier - and they don't necessarily let distributors (like us!) know that they've changed something about the product or where it is manufactured.
