These double outlet switches allow you to plug your disposer and another appliance, like an instant hot, into the air switch. The instant hot will always be on until you want to use the disposer. Push the air switch once and the disposer turns on, temporarily turning off the instant hot. When the air switch is pushed again, the disposer will turn off and the instant hot will turn back on.
