Q. "How far out from the wall are these grab bars?"
A. These grab bars are designed to meet current ADA regulations so they may be installed in the home and in hotels, hospitals, guest homes, businesses, or anywhere else a stylish grab bar is needed. This means that the space between the wall and the grab bar must be 1-1/2". As the bar itself has an outer diameter of 1-1/4", the grab bar occupies an approximate total of 2-3/4" - 3", including brackets and finials, from wall to furthest point of the grab bar.
Q. "These are nice, but how can I install them so it's not so obviously a grab bar?"
A. Sturdy grab bars make great replacements for flimsy towel bars, and especially with some of the designer syles these days, blend beautifully with your décor.
