Durable plastic male adapter with a 1/2" MIPT (Male Iron Pipe Thread) connection on one end and a barbed insert on the other.
Designed for secure connections with black polyethylene irrigation tubing or potable water tubing for wells.
Provides a tight, leak-resistant fit for efficient water flow in irrigation and plumbing systems.
If the tubing is too snug, warming the tubing in hot water will make it more pliable for easier installation.
For added ease, a small amount of silicone lubricant, faucet grease, or liquid dish soap (not recommended for potable water) can be applied to the fitting.
Recommended for use with marine-grade stainless steel clamps to ensure a secure hold on the tubing.
