Water Removal Systems
These economical water removal systems from Little Giant and Zoeller are an inexpensive, simple way to remove gray water (not sewage) from laundry trays and sinks that are below your main sewer/septic lines. These under sink pump systems remove water from laundry trays, sinks, etc. (not toilets) where gravity drainage is impractical. Great for basements or areas where the main drain is higher. Designed for above ground. Systems are UL listed, CSA approved, and the basins are IAPMO approved.

2" INLET - Sump Pump Drain Kits - Select The Pump For Your Application
These Zoeller sump pump systems remove water from areas where normal gravity flow is not available. These basins are made of polyethylene and have a 2" NPT side inlet allowing for a higher flow of drain water to enter the basin. These sump pump drain kits are designed to be used for one fixture application. Typical applications include: laundry tray pumps, wet bar sinks, lavatories, air conditioning condensate or dehumidifier water removal. They can also be used in conjunction with dishwashers and garbage disposal applications. The Model #135-0005 is designed for situations requiring pumping waste water to higher elevations and is capable of pumping 23 gallons of water per minute 30 feet high.

Check Valves For Sump Pumps
Check valves are needed in most sump pump or sewage ejector systems. When installed correctly they will keep the discharge from draining back into the sump after the pump turns off and causing the pump to cycle repeatedly on and off helping to prevent premature pump failure or burn-out.
For your convenience we offer different styles of check valves giving you the freedom to choose the one that will work best for your application. The combination ball and check valves provide a positive manual shut-off allowing you to stop back flow from flowing back to the sump basin while servicing the basin or pump, and inspect and clean the check valve if needed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. "Can I safely use an air admittance valve ("auto vent") on any of the above systems?"
A. Although some people have installed an air admittance valve on the above systems, we will never suggest or recommend that you do so. We always recommend installing a vent all the way through the roof (and as per your local codes). We have had people write us stating that when they installed an air admittance valve the flapper in the valve can chatter and create vibration. The right way to go is to install a non-mechanical vent, all the way to the roof, and as per your local codes.
Q. "Can I cut off the plug from the end of the Little Giant RS-5LL remote switch that's used on the smaller Drainosaurs so that I can hardwire it into my system?"
A. In a word, no. Not only would that void the manufacturer's warranty, removal of the plug from the RS-5LL switch (which is used on the WRS-5, WRS-6 and WRS-C6 systems) will not allow the switch to function properly (if at all). Pressure from rising water pushes against a diaphragm inside the RS-5LL switch, turning off the switch. For the diaphragm to move, the air above the membrane must be expelled; to allow this air to escape, a small vent tube runs from the top of the switch and along the cord, exiting at the plug. If the plug is removed and the switch is hardwired, the air tube would essentially be "plugged off"; the air from the area above the diaphragm membrane could not vent, which means water pressure would be unable to move the membrane to close the switch.
Q. "Do I need to install a vent pipe to the tank?"
A. It really depends on how you plumb the piping to the tank and each situation is different. In many cases with any brand of sealed tank the simple answer is yes as you need air to displace the volume of discharge. An AAV may be used in many areas of the country but local codes always prevail and so best to check with your local code authorities before purchasing the enclosed tank system/s such as these shown on this page.
Q. "What does it mean when it states the basin passes 10 ft. stack test?"
A. This means that the basin can withstand water pressure from a 10 ft. vertical pipe without leaking.
