Safety Quik® is a quick-disconnect protection valve designed for restaurant kitchens that combines the one-handed, push-to-connect functionality of the standard quick-disconnect coupling but includes a patented safety system that protects you, your business and your staff. The combined 'on-off' valve and quick disconnect means that users cannot accidentally turn on the gas while the appliance is disconnected from the supply line. It also prevents the gas connector from being disconnected whenever gas is flowing. With the Safety Quik® combination ball valve and quick disconnect, the gas connector cannot be disconnected until the valve is shut-off, and the valve cannot be opened until the gas connector is attached. Thermal shutoff at temperatures in excess of 350°F for your safety.

Overall, decreasing stress gives you a safer gas connection for your valuable equipment. With the SnapFast® quick disconnect coupling/valve, the gas connector can be disconnected with one hand and the valve shuts off gas flow automatically. When the gas flex is pushed back into the coupling/valve, the flow of gas will begin again automatically. It is strongly recommended that if not already present, a gas rated ball valve be installed immediately up stream from the SnapFast® coupling/valve.
