Q. "Can I use regular cleaning supplies on the mirror?"
A. Yes. You can use any normal glass cleaners and mirrors cleaners to clean these wonderful fogless mirrors. Since the mirror is heated, don't use combustible or toxic substances.
Q. "Can I install these Shower Clear Mirrors horizontally?"
A. Yes. If you would like a wider view, maybe for two people to share at once, feel free to. You need to alter the installation directions yourself, paying close attention to the Clear Mirror height, junction box position, and the cutout location.
Q. "Can I remove the heating pad from the mirror?"
A. The heating pad has been designed to be very sticky. If you attempt to remove the pad, it will probably get ruined.
Q. "Since the fogless ClearMirror uses an electrical heating pad to warm the glass, is there a chance I can suffer an electrical shock?"
A. The fog free Clear Shower Mirror is Underwriter Laboratories (UL) and C-UL listed, tested to the CSA international standards. The low voltage helps to ensure electrical shock cannot happen under proper installation and use circumstances. If you do not install or use the mirror according to the manufacturer's instructions, there could be a possiblity of electrical shock. If you are at all unsure of your ability to install the electrical components properly, we strongly recommend contracting a licensed electrician to perform the installation.
