Air Eliminators and Automatic Air Vents
During filling, maintenance, or through oxygen infiltration, air is introduced into every hydronic heating/cooling system. To function properly, the air must be eliminated and these air eliminators are designed to remove trapped air, micro bubbles and
dirt from heating, cooling and domestic water systems. We are your source for air eliminators and many other heating and cooling parts and products.

Honeywell-Sparco PV Series Residential SuperVent Automatic Vents
During filling, maintenance or through oxygen infiltration, air is introduced into every hydronic heating/cooling system. To function properly, the air must be eliminated. The SuperVent slows the velocity of the water in its enlarged chamber,
where the water impacts onto a stainless steel dynamic concentrator. The concentrator merges bubbles and micro bubbles, which then float through to the top of the SuperVent where they are vented to the outside. The high capacity vent
keeps the water level below the venting point for a clean vent nozzle. The SuperVent offers the largest venting rate at pressures up to 125 psi for residential models.
These residential air vents feature:
- Guarantees heating and cooling systems startup
- Eliminates customer call backs for systems not working properly because air has stopped proper fluid circulation
- Helps prevent pipe and valve corrosion by air elimination
- Low pressure drop, high bi-directional flow with SuperVent air release
- 360 degree rotational SuperVent collar ring for vent installation flexibility
- Removable vent top for cleaning
- Bronze/stainless construction
- 1/2" FIPT bottom plug for clean out or remove for mounting an expansion tank, or connect blow-down valve for sediment removal in dirty systems
- Dynamic concentrator has 3X more air collection power than standard air vents
- 125 psi maximum working pressure
- 240° F. maximum operating temperature

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. "What does bi-directional flow mean?"
A. Bi-directional flow means fluid can flow through the valve in both directions. The inlet and outlet can be reversed and the valve will still function properly.
Q. "What is the difference between an open and closed circulation system?"
A. A closed system is a recirculation loop for water (or other liquid) where once it is set up and running, no new liquid will be introduced into the system, unless the system is shut down for servicing.
Most hydronic heating systems, like radiators or radiant floor heating, use a separate boiler or water heater not connected to the main water supply, so the same liquid is constantly circulated through the piping and/or to the radiators
back through the boiler or water heater.
An open system is a recirculating loop for heating water when the water heater is connected to the main water supply. As water is constantly being used throughout the house in the kitchen, bath, etc., the water is instantly replaced as
fresh water is introduced into the water heater from the main water supply. These types of systems can be used for radiant floor heating and other hydronic heating applications.
