P-Traps
Tubular P-Trap Kits are so easy to use and so versatile. Almost any angle can be achieved by rotating the j-bend and trap arm as needed. You can use them on kitchen, bar, bathroom, or laundry sinks and even bath tub drains (when access is provided.) Due to their design tubular p-traps are much more reliable than standard glue-on ABS p-traps with unions. The slip joint nuts on tubular p-traps will not just pop-off when tightening like the ABS p-traps with unions can. You will only need to hand tighten the nuts on tubular p-traps for a perfect seal.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. "What does tubular mean?"
A. It is a thinner walled pipe most commonly used under sinks to attach sink drains to the house drain. It allows the use of slip joint adjustable connections by being light weight yet durable, also it's easier to install compared to direct hard line connections.
Q. "What is ABS pipe?"
A. ABS stands for Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene. ABS pipe is a black plastic pipe used for water distribution, drain, waste, vent and sewage.
Q. "Are the black tubular drainage parts all ABS as well as are the white tubular parts all made of PVC?"
A. No, the black and white tubular drainage parts are mostly made of polypropylene plastic, colored black to match ABS piping or colored white to match PVC piping. There are some parts made of ABS and PVC so those specific parts can be glued (solvent welded) to the stub outs of the type pipe, ABS or PVC being used in the house drain. Color choice is usually based on customer preference to match the type of piping in their house drain systems.
