Frequently Asked Questions
Q. "I have a Delta faucet with a plastic handle. I want to put a metal handle on it, but the metal handles don't seem to fit. Is there a way to convert this over so I can use a metal handle?"
A. Knob to lever handle conversion ball: order the RP20111, offered above.
Q. "I have a Delta single control shower valve, but the hot and cold seem to be backwards (the cold is on the left and the hot is on the right). Is there a solution for this other than tearing open the wall and reversing the pipes?"
A. We have the solution for you! Reverse ball for single acrylic knob: order the RP16423, offered above.
Q. "My acrylic handles keep cracking. Are the ones you sell better than what I have been buying elsewhere?"
A. It might make no difference where you are buying them, if you have been using certain cleaning products. Delta put out a warning that said: "Dow bathroom cleaner with scrubbing bubbles and Lysol foaming basin tub and tile cleaner must not be used on the clear knob handles and levers. Use of these cleaners can result in cracked or severely damaged handles. If over spray gets onto the handles, immediately wipe them dry with a soft cotton cloth." We aren't experts on plastics such as acrylics but we have seen some plastics become brittle with silicone sprays as well. We recommend only buying genuine Delta brand handles and to only use liquid hand cleaners made for doing dishes.
