Q. "What does 'ADA Compliant' mean?"
A. Complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 is a comprehensive civil rights act for people with disabilities. On July 26, 1990, the President signed the ADA into law as wide-ranging legislation intended to make American society more accessible to people with disabilities and to prohibit discrimination on the basis of disability. The ADA was built primarily due to the desire of individuals with disabilities to work toward their goal of full participation in American society, and effects the ADA may have on businesses include restructuring or altering the layout of a building, modifying equipment, and removing barriers.
Q. "Where are these bottle filling stations typically installed?"

A. The bottle filler will accommodate up to a 14" bottle. However, if you tilt the bottle, bottles taller than 14" may also be accommodated.

A. Laminar flow is a smooth stream of water with little turbulence and is not prone to spattering or splashing.
Q. "What are the new lead-free laws?"
A. The new lead-free laws require plumbing products that come into contact with drinking water to be essentially lead-free (0.25% weighted average). These laws have passed in California and Vermont. In order for companies to ship these plumbing products to locations in California, Maryland, and Vermont, they must be ANSI certified lead-free.
Q. "I'm hearing a lot about lead-free these days. What does that have to do with plumbing products and how does the new lead-free legislation affect me?"
A. Basically, the laws implemented Jan. 1st, 2014 require plumbing products that come in contact with drinking water to be "essentially lead free" (less than 0.25% weighted average).
